How much does a personal trainer with Fit Bud cost?
There is no price list. Every quote follows a short assessment, because a beginner doing two sessions a week at home in Angeles is a different job from a small group in Laguna. The blog has an article on what moves the price. Send the form and you get a quote in writing.
Do you cover my area, and how does the transport charge work?
Anywhere in the Philippines. In-person coaching where a coach is within reach (Pampanga, Bulacan, Tarlac, Bataan, Metro Manila, Laguna and nearby Luzon), with a transportation charge quoted by distance, one charge per session so a small group shares it. Everywhere else, including the Visayas and Mindanao, coaching is online and there is no transport charge.
What equipment do I need at home?
About two by two metres of floor and a mat. The coach brings bands, dumbbells or kettlebells as agreed in the plan. If you have a condo gym or your own gym, the coach plans around what is there.
Do I need a doctor’s clearance?
Yes if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, uncontrolled high blood pressure, recent surgery, a diagnosed bone condition or a recent fall. Otherwise the consultation covers your history. When in doubt, ask your doctor first; the coach will ask you to.
What is the cancellation policy?
Tell us the day before and the session moves with no charge. A same-day cancellation after the coach has left for your place carries the transport charge for that trip. Rain, brownouts and sick children are understood; just message early.
How many sessions a week?
Two or three with the coach is the usual pattern, with walking or the written plan on the other days. One a week works for people who train alone confidently and want a check-in.
How soon will I see results?
It depends on the person, the goal and how consistent the weeks are. Most people find they feel stronger and sleep better within a few weeks; changes you can see in the mirror take longer. We do not promise a number by a date.
Online or in person, which is better?
In person is better for beginners, anyone with a medical flag and anyone who wants their form watched closely. Online suits people who know the movements and want a plan, a weekly call and no transport charge. Many people start in person and move online.
Can my family train with me?
Yes. Small-group training covers two to four people in one session, each with their own written plan and one shared transport charge.
Who are the coaches?
Coach profiles are being added to the site. Every coach is matched to your goal and your area, and you meet them at the first session before committing to a block. We do not publish names or certifications we cannot verify.
What should I wear?
Anything you can move in: shorts or leggings, a t-shirt, trainers. Bring water. For a park or court, a cap and a towel.
What happens at the first session?
A consultation about your week, health and goal; a movement screen, which is a short set of basic movements the coach watches; goals agreed and written down; and a written plan you keep. Then a gentle first workout if there is time.
Still have a question?
Put it in the "anything else" box on the form. The coach reads every enquiry and replies by email, even if the answer is that we are not the right fit.
