Basketball conditioning at the covered court
Basketball is the sport of every barangay, and the injuries are the same everywhere: ankles, knees, and the lower back from landing badly. Conditioning for basketball is mostly strength for the legs, landing practice and short repeated sprints. The coach can run it at your village covered court, so the work happens on the surface you play on.
Running and volleyball
Runners in the Philippines fight the heat more than the distance. Conditioning for runners here is strength for the hips and calves, a plan that puts the long runs before sunrise, and a sensible build so shins and knees hold up. Volleyball players get jump and landing work, shoulder care and short lateral speed drills, run at the court or at home.
The coach does not replace your team coach. Conditioning sits alongside skills training and games.
Where it happens and what it costs
Sessions run at your court, a public park, your home or your gym. A transportation charge applies to in-person sessions and is quoted by distance. The programme is quoted after a short assessment, where the coach watches you move and asks about your season.
